Clicking “share” but not buying shares. Facebook is blaming Nasdaq for its lackluster public offering. Yeah, right. It couldn’t possibly be that no one wants shares in Facebook.
Zap! Now I know why I couldn’t stream movies from Netflix last Friday but I could from the Apple Store. It seems that lightning took out part of Amazon’s cloud service. Not just Netflix suffered. So did Pinterest, Instagram and others.
The USPS is requesting permission from the Postal Regulatory Commission to offer at 2 percent discount for direct mail that features a mobile barcode for a product purchase. Good idea. Except—they need permission from the Postal Regulatory Commission to offer it? Now you know why the USPS does not always act in the most nimble fashion.
