It was the other way around. Ms. Hanks, a deservedly in-demand landscape and portrait artist, created her own site. Then she helped me with my site by showing me how she did it. The result is the [cough, cough] masterful site on which this blog resides.
At first I thought Henry had made rather a sexist assumption, which turned out to be hasty and unwarranted on my part. Henry was not in a position to know that, besides being a gifted painter, Ms. Hanks happens to be a decent writer and layout artist. What he knew was that marketing is my, not her, stated profession. So his assumption was not unreasonable.
I bristle at prejudice in any form. But, like anyone, I must guard against seeing it where it is not.
